Hi all! Any techie guys help on this one? Got a folder full (22x 351mb) of single .avi 'episodes' of 45 minutes each, which I'm trying to burn onto DVDs.

First few attempts have been done with Nero and the 'create your own movie dvd' option, then adding between one/four episodes on per disc. When just one episode the DVD quality is 'excellent' and when four it goes down to 'average' which is actually rather poor like a youtube video.

The problem I am having every time is a number of disc errors on each attempt, where the DVD skips long sectiions - quickly forwarding past the afflicted area works sometimes, but another error is never far away.

Can someone put me right on how to do this more efficiently?

Thanks!

you want to burn them as data, not as a dvd. can then play them on a data dvd player, computer, or ps3, etc.

I fill mine up and works fine.

Now though I have a memory USB stick I use on the PS3. Saves on DVDs

Thanks for the tips. The DVD burner is set on 2x (lowest setting) and still errors occur making the second half of the disc unwatchable. Thanks for the tip re data DVD, I'll try that now..
