Burn down Selhurst!

Can't be arsed to trawl through todays posts to see if this has already been mentioned but I nearly pissed myself when I got back to London Victoria this afternoon to hear an announcement that all trains had been cancelled for a short time due to a fire at Selhurst!

Thought one of you chaps must have been a little bored on a day off work!

Immediately asked a Network South Central worker if it was definitely Selhurst, which he confirmed - then told him, "Good, I hope the whole frickin' place is up in smoke"...he looked at me puzzled for a second and then after the penny dropped that I meant the footie (sorry, I mean wankers) ground he gave me an agreeing smile....does everyone hate P*lace?

I must admit it bought a smile to my face when I saw it was a major fire at Selhurst. And yes, the first thing that came into my mind was that the ground was on fire, nothing to do with the trains at all!
