I hope he is well prepared and has his PC updated, with all the latest inputs into the database, Sami says he is expecting to spend some money in January.
You have had since the end of September David to prepare, no excuses, this could be the most important window since you have been here.

I don 't like to see anyone lose their job without good reason - but this is a high-profile, highly skilled and specialised role and requires an enormous amount of judgment and ability - and David Burke has presided over the squad being neutered, it has gone from arguably worthy of a top-two finish in 2013 to relegation fodder in December 2014.

He must see what happened at Leicester and feel a chill. And for me it isn't just looking who he HAS bought and criticising that (though there is plenty of ammunition there). It is who he HASN'T got, the scouting and assessment of players ready to make the jump up to the Championship is not right. This is just off the top of my head but look at Lee Gregory, winner for Millwall against us, £250,000 from Halifax in the summer (4 goals as a rotation striker in a debut Championship season, same as all our current available strikers COMBINED).

Callum Wilson was known to Burke last August, 2013, at Coventry in League One. If we had bought him in January this year he would have been £1million tops, the rest is history, now scoring for fun in the Championship at Bournemouth and widely tipped for a move to the Premier League. Moses Odubajo, everyone knew he was a Championship standard player at Orient, how did promoted Brentford get him ahead of play-offs Brighton? He has been brilliant this season. Andre Gray the same from Luton for Brentford. There will be many more.

I'd cut the club some slack with the managerial change, but as I'm sure we all remember they claimed it didn't affect recruitment and that it was ongoing.

I am sure there are further examples and it is the aspect that most troubles me and shows that area of the club is seriously under-performing. It is how you should be judged, the players are there but you have to make a correct judgment about their ability to rise up the leagues. I don't really care who does it, I just want it done, and done better than it is being done at the moment starting in January.

I hope Sami expecting to spend money in January means him and the family going shopping in the New Year Sales in Helsinki.
