In rehab
Reasons why Burgess will not go to Blackpool

1)Always in the lower divisions
2)ground is still small
3)Don't think they have brought a player yet only freebies
4)Better prospects elsewhere
5)relegation battle already for them

1) Blackpool have some financial backing.
2) Blackpool have a half-decent stadium (literally), which is half a decent stadium more than we do.

3) I assume it massively cheaper to relocate to Blackpool

But that is cancelled out by the fact you'd live in Blackpool. :lolol:

As I discovered only 2 weeks ago, Blackpool is a complete shithole - meaning that Burgess must be mad to choose Blackpool over God's county.

Let's hope Burgess is McGhee's Pinnamonte, and he can fluke another Zamora in his place. :)

Actually, the better areas there such as Lytham are quite expensive and whilst not as bad as Brighton they would give Hove prices a run for their money.

On a train...
I'm still on the edge of my seat holding my mobile, awaiting the news that George Santos has signed an 5 year deal with us.

The only reason I think he might go to Blackpool is that he has a house nearby from his days at Blackburn. We might be a better option in many peoples eyes - but if he can move back to his old house and play for Blackpool this might prove a better deal.

Lets just hope we don't miss the boat and end up with another loanee come the end of the month !

And chips with curry sauce. I went up there nearly 10 years ago with some colleagues to see the lights when I was cab driving. We went on the Grand National and then my boss made me stand and watch him devour a whole tray of seafood. Nearly made me  instantly. I spent an evening on the Jack Daniels after that, which made me feel considerably better. Still would take Brighton than Blackpool, even if property is a lot cheaper.

Just had a text from my mate up at BBC Radio Humberside, he says the deal for Burgess to us looks to be back on. Not 100% confirmed yet but he believes it has been agreed by the two clubs.

Amen to that, I've rated Burgess and think he really could do the proverbial job.
