Has anyone yet figured out how to mute Michael Owen? What an annoying semi Manc semi scouse whine he's got, and he never has anything remotely interesting to say. Somoene needs to tell him he has a mike in his hand, so he doesn't need to shout into it, just talk normally.

it is the most annoying noise and I would like to hear of a mute button that cuts him out but still leaves the main commentator on please.

I think he's getting better. When he started, he was terrible, nauseatingly dull, nervous and monotone.

He is now much more excitable, less dull and less monotone.

Far better him than Andy Townsend. Or Robbie Savage.

I watched the United game in the Constant Service pub which was playing vinyl music throughout the duration of the match, so fortunately that meant I didn't hear any of his pearls of wisdom.

He is awful. He just repeats what his co commentator says. However he isn't as bad as Ray Wilkins was on Sky. That monotone voice was truly dreadful
