He sounds like a PORN STAR.

[edit] - didn't mean to capitalise, but I will leave them as they look good!

We DO need adequate cover for full back and it seems to have been forgotten recently. Kish can cover right back but then that leaves us weaker in midfield. Tarricco cant play regularly if Painter gets a nasty injury.

Hope we are not all looking in the wrong direction.

I understood McNulty was back or due back with us shortly?

reportedly (the argus) not going to be staying once he recovers from his injury.

I would think that if we were to sign full back cover it would be via the development squad unless either Calde or Painter were to get injured during January while the transfer window is open

We have Matutu who I understand looks fairly promising but you're right there isn't much cover at all in reserve so hopefully it's an area that Aranalde is concentrating on. Given the consistently high standard set by Calde and Painter it's hard to see an established player being prepared to come to us to sit on the bench so we need some youngsters with the potential to step up to the plate and be able to slot in to our playing style when and if needed. Based on his extended loan to Mansfield, Steve Cook seems not to have made it through to the level where he can be considered as immediate cover which is a shame as he was the best local product since Sam Rents. I thought both would progress to League standard to be honest so shows what I know :)

Never really saw the problem with Mcnulty. Suppose he plays more of a left wing back then a left back but that's good for our attacking options.

Can't imagine he'd get first team football here at the mo...

I think the problem is he wants first team football and with painter being solid and ever present his chances are limited here. It's understandable he wants first team football at this stage in his career (25/26), so probably from his point of view it's better to move on. It is a shame I think as he's looked a good player whenever I've seen him and he's been pretty unlucky with injuries as well.

Steve Cook is an odd one, as when he came on against Manchester City I thought he was excellent, so I'm surprised he has not progressed. Sam Rents seemed to be doing okay, then had a stinker against Yeovil at the end of 2007, when he was ripped to bits by Marcus Stewart, who made a Massey Fergsuon look fast. His career seemed to go downhill from then on.
