Apart from earning more money he is clearly content with reserve football at Leicester.

Was Brooker the bait for BZ?. Like Kuipers when he was brought in from Bristol Rovers. Really can't think of any other reason that MA would have signed him.

I liked watching Brooker and was always pleased to see him in the team for us (except when we played ankle deep in mud when he was always shit) but he was at best a good 1st div player. Can't help thinking that he will go down as one of his poorest signings for Leicester. MA does sign duff players sometimes Campbell and Cameron being the ones that stand out when he was here. I expect Brooker to be loaned out by xmas as the BZ gamble did not come off

I disagree.

I think Brooker is a good player to bring on around 70 mins with a fresh pair of legs.

He can run at defenders and make goals.

If someone at work offered you more money to do less work, wouldn't you accept it?

I'm not saying he shouldn't have gone for the money but if he's to come on and run at people in the last 20 mins it would help if he was at least on the bench :)

Even then I don't think he's anywhere near good enough for the Premiership, but we'll see eh Yorkie and I do hope you're right. I like Brooker .

Me too.

Perhaps we could ask Micky if we can have him on loan :lolol:

They've only played three games - a player's worth can only really be judged over the length of a season if he's a permanent signing. Let's see if he gets some playing time when a bit more of the season's elapsed, eh?

wait until a few Leicester players are suspended, and they need some quick legs in the hope of a late equiliser . . . .then he'll get his chance . . . . hopefully they can keep their pitch with a bit of grass on it, fairly flat and firm, otherwise he's f**ked. :lolol:
