Now this is interesting. The £67 that I alegedly owe is back dated two years BUT, thanks Money Saving Expert, they cant claim back any money owed that I was unaware of from over 12 months. So I wonder how many people would have just paid up?

My account with them is on a direct debit with a smart meter and I'm certainly not in debt, in fact they owe me £644.96.
All emails checked and are genuine.
Over the past few days I've received emails telling me my Direct Debit has been cancelled followed by my new higher rates as my DD has been cancelled. I called them, well had an online chat, and they confirmed everything was fine, don't worry. My DD was taken out Monday as expected.
But today I've another email saying my account is closed and to settle the final bill.
Is this just me or is anyone else having the same problems?
Sorry didn't see the later posts ,

I had something similar i asked them why were they taking £140 a month d/d when i'm only using £90 in electricity i don't have Gas. I asked them how much they owed me they didn't have a clue. But I did it was £540 so that was the beginning of around 4 months of hassle. I told them they over charged me for 7000 off peak units. They said that's correct and suggested i was wrong . I then said how can my meter read 000000 off peak it actually read 7432 when i started with them, and show the correct peak units 140043 . So 3 engineer visits and a new smart meter later (i already had a smart meter). They were still arguing eventually they refunded me £200 of what they over charged i said i wan't it all £540. So i gave them notice that i wont be paying them and cancelled my d/d. I told them the minute i owe you anything i will pay the the exact amount. I called Ofgem and made a complaint. B/G ended up paying me £280 in courtesy and also all my money back i took photos of all meter readings. They cannot be trusted to tell the truth. So my last payment to them was September 15th 2024 and i haven't paid since then i will next pay on July 15th as they still owe me £95. They wanted me to leave but i said you cant force me to leave i want ALL my money back from you as i doubted i would get my money back otherwise. So good luck just never give in . Sorry the answer is so long. But i feel for you but defiantly contact Ofgem .
