Bring Back McCammon

McCammon is completely different to our current set of strikers, because he can make centre-halfs uncomfortable with his raw strength. He's the only player you'd really want in the box too apart from Hammond and the centre-halves if we were putting over 20 crosses like we did in the Cardiff defeat.

McGhee must always have him as an option in the 16.

And at Shrewsbury, although we lost, he looked interested and put the effort in - isn't that one half of being a good player - the other half being ability ...

he was very good at shrewsbury, if he works as hard as he did in his 2 games so far he is definently worth a shout

Think we all agree that Le Grand Mac should be back in the reckoning.

He'll walk into the current forward line when fit, whether he'll be as disappointing as all of them recently is the question.

Think I'd have him on the bench but not starting. Between now and the game he may be able to get ina couple of reserves games but don't think this will bring his match sharpness up to standard. Thought he looked good at Hull and by all accounts had a good game a Shrewsbury. Think all the pre-season under McGhee did him good and he may now have lost some of that.

However strongly think one of the reasons we beat Palace was because of the way that Jakey and Leon play, and the way the team plays with them in it. Would like to see Big Mac get a chance off the bench though

I still don't understand why people think he is shit.

He always causes defences problems when he plays. A very good option to have

Nor do I. He was by far and away the best player for me when we beat Sunderland at Withdean last season.....and they were a half decent side. Bring back the Mac I say.

Now this is a cultural thing. For some reason big centre forwards are hated at the Albion. Peter Harburn, Teddy Maybank, . Michael Small was loved but at the club for a little time.
McCammon helped us to the vital win against the Gills last season but he is not pretty enough for some.
what rhymes with chuck ?
