Interested to see what songs can be created without relying on players and therefore can survive longer

My first one I present:

The Go-betweens
Streets of your town

Round and round
Up and down
Through the streets of your town

Every day
I watch us play
Through the streets of your town

Worthing
Not sure I understand the concept here but… Rumble in Brighton (Stray Cats), Brighton Rock (Queen), You’re not from Brighton (Fat Boy S).

Apologies @tomfitz12 if if have got this wrong.

I love SOYT though…..

We are Brighton, we are Brighton, super Brighton, from the south.

I moved away from Brighton in 1980 ish. Still gets an airing I hear.

If we’re talking existing songs then:
GOSBTS
Go left go right

I enjoyed ‘We’re on our way’ in our promotion season.

I always like: "Brighton and Hove Albion, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brighton and Hove Albion...."

Well, "Go left, Go left" does indeed "rely" on a player

"He shot, he scored
It must be our Peter Ward"

;)
Amazing the PW song lives on and is sung as there must be fair number of (younger) supporters that dont even know who he is

I’m 44 and was born less than a month before he left for Nottingham Forest. I was 2 when he returned on loan.

My dad saw him play, including his debut.
