I think the ask the club thing is an incredibly positive thing. How many other clubs can ask the club questions like that on an independent messageboard ? Palace ?

It's a shame that it's obviously open to abuse. Brighton Rock should apologise or explain what the f*ck he was up to asking a question like that, especially as he's aware what we've all been fighting for.

I'm not a lover of Palace fans, but I would stand in Brighton Rock's defence since he has helped out in the Falmer campaign and there are in fact pictures of him in the Falmer threads where he has taken part. Most of the time his posts are probably a wind up - I doubt if there is any hatred in the bloke, he just likes a bit of banter.

Fair enough, I take it all back. Any Palace Fan who has helped us out deserves our respect. It's just a shame he almost ruined it with that purile question on Ask The Club...

OK, Rock you're back in my good books but leave the banter to the fans and don't waste the time of the club posting crap on that thread. It's an incredibly positive thing that all clubs could learn from including yours. I was gonna PM the mods about it (I was on holiday when it started), but if you're reading my absolute upmost respect in getting that organised. Hats off to Dick and Martin for letting it happen.

The club is not going to disclose it's financial plans on a forum, or anywhere else for that matter, since they are confidential and they are hardly going to say "Oh yeah BR you're right. Scrap Falmer, back to the drawing board".
However, when you're feeling low about the lack of positive news at Palace feel free to bore us with poinless cut and pasted stories anytime in the future it gives us a good laugh to see your idea of club news.

I have no problems with Brighton Rock, Laughing Bluebird, Wilts, Royal Ali, Berkshire Seagull, Sussexspur and the West Ham fan. (and a few others I can't think of at the moment).

Martin Perry has said it many times the finance is in place to build the new stadium, where this money is coming from will be kept secret till Falmer gets the nod for obvious reasons.
