Brighton Ready For Battle To Keep Their Star Players

Fresh from their fight for European qualification, Brighton are now readying themselves for another battle this summer, as they attempt to keep their star men from the clutches of their Premier League rivals. The Seagulls were one of the most impressive teams in the league last season, but their performances have come at a cost, with big clubs now circling around their key men.
Roberto De Zerbi has done an incredible job at the Amex, turning his team into one of the Premier League's most entertaining and stylish teams. Despite the successes enjoyed by the squad, Brighton will do well to keep hold of their prize assets for the 2023/24 season.

Some Of The Stars That Could Leave This Summer

Moises Caicedo

Brighton had to fight off a host of clubs to keep Caicedo at the club during the January transfer window, but time may be running out on the Ecuadorian's stay at the Amex. His all-action displays have attracted attention from Europe's top clubs, including Arsenal who are currently the 9/1 third favourites in the ante-post football betting odds to win the Premier League next season.
Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea have also shown interest in the centre-midfielder, and it would be no surprise to see other top teams from around Europe attempting to pry him away from Brighton.

Alexis MacAllister

If the rumours are to be believed, Alexis MacAllister already has an agreement in place to join Liverpool in the summer. The World Cup winner has been one of Brighton's standout stars for the past few seasons, and having excelled for Argentina in their World Cup success, it is no surprise that he is coveted by some of the top clubs around Europe.
Liverpool seem to be in the driving seat at the minute, but their lack of Champions League action next season could see MacAllister tempted to look elsewhere for a new club. Arsenal have shown a key interest in the Argentinian, as have Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Evan Ferguson

One of the breakout stars of the 2022/23 season, Evan Ferguson is now attracting attention from the Premier League's biggest clubs. The Irishman came out of the blue last season, but he fully announced himself on the main stage with some impressive displays, including six goals. Man Utd are said to be considering a move for the youngster, but it is likely he will stay at the Amex for at least one more season.

Kauro Mitoma

Another player that seemingly came from nowhere to have an incredible season was Kauro Mitoma. The Japanese attacker was hugely impressive in his first season in the Premier League, something that has garnered interest from the bigger clubs. Skillful, pacey, and with an eye for goal, Mitoma has registered seven goals and five assists for The Seagulls, and at his age, he has the potential to improve even further with more games under his belt. Arsenal and Spurs are thought to be interested in his signature, but he could be another player to remain under the tutelage of De Zerbi next season.
