Hove, but only because it was home for many years
In the last 5 years I have lived in Grand Parade opposite Victoria Gardens and Hove nr Town Hall, and Hove wins by a Country Mile, another bonus with both locations is I wansnt anywhere near a Green MP! Got a feeling my blue one currently will change to a red one soon though...

That has seriously gone down hill recently. Central hove for me - Any one of the Avenues.

No, not really, my ideal would actually be on the Brighton and Hove border somewhere. I lived in that area when I first met my missus and it was easily my favourite area of all those I've lived in (previously Poets Corner, Portslade, Seven Dials, Coombe Road) and after (George St and then back to Portslade).
However the need for a garden, unrestricted parking and a school in walking distance sent us off to the Slarde which I am loving more and more after a slow start.
