Brighton Marathon: The first Mile

Went down to Preston park today to take some photos of the start of the marathon, Will upload some more in a little bit.

I just saw Tony Bloom along the seafront, and shouted Tony like a div but he waved, made my day! Think it might be tight for him to make under 4 hours!

Well he was a good 10 minutes ahead of anyone else at Southwick Beach.

That was a bit of a stroke of luck getting the winner in the shot just before they ran past. I was messing about too much with the camera.

I got a few more pictures, including that guy dressed up as a pair of gigantic testicles

^ I would have been there for the start of the Marathon but I woke up an hour after I intended to get up for the marathon, so I decided to start taking photos at a less congested spot.
