If Brian Clough was alive today he would tell you the answer was, 'Me young man' but because I never got to see him I would plump for Liam Brady.

.... sorry, rather squiffy and misread the question. The correct answer is Brian Horton

Cloughie was the supreme goalscorer but Brady was the best all round player. And Case was the hardest.

Couldn't make my mind up, so voted for all of them (as it's a multiple choice poll).

Brady, also proved that the best players don't necessarily make the best managers, good for half a season and the rest was largely pony.

Brady then Gus. But only because Clough never got to fulfil his true potential. His goalscoring record was unbelievable

Mullers was great, but the sublime talent of Liam Brady was off the scale.
Coppell was a consistently quality player for ManU, and Gus had all the best qualities at the toplevel.

Brady shades it though, his versatility and ability to pull rabbits from hats with deft chips and cutting passes was a joy to behold. I think his influence is still in the modern game - he would still fit in, where some of the others might not.
