To be fair Ferguson has gone off the boil recently. Maybe Welbeck can chip in again before another few weeks break.

Think
Igor -----------------------Joao Pedro
Dunk--------Gilmour-------Gross
Van Hecke---Hinshelwood---Welbeck
Milner----------------------Buonanotte

Is most likely. Hinshelwood and Gilmour at CM is worrying, though. That was the CM pairing in the Aston Villa match...

I genuinely can’t sword out where each of Milner, Hinshelwood and Gross are playing, any could conceivably be RB, CM or RW

Spurs lineup looking experienced and strong. Richarlison fit and starting, despite earlier doubts.

Feeling more pessimistic about this fixture than any other in some years now.

Our young, bare bones team needs to put on one hell of a performance to get something tonight - or perhaps we are due a bit of luck.

You know what, that's a fairly strong lineup considering our injury woes... but so troublingly far from our strongest XI.

Disappointed to see Steele in goal
, it's just asking for a soft long shot from Spurs for an easy goal.

Suspect we'll see all of Baleba, Ferguson and Estupinan come on tonight, possibly Dahoud & Lallana as well.
Not a fan? :)

So you are a fan of a keeper who can’t make a save 🤔

Yeah, he's exceptional with the ball at his feet - certainly the best that's ever played for the albion - And that's why he's playing tonight. I suspect we will we see a lot of it.

As long as we close down long-shots and generally defend well, it could be a RDZ master stroke.... but having Steele in goal always makes me nervous.

Delighted Welbeck is fit enough to start. Decent team that. With Estupinan not ready to start, that’s probably the best 11 we could put out.

It does show how strong our squad actually is (full back aside) in that despite the injuries, we’ve put out a pretty strong, experienced team and bench and why we can’t use injuries as an excuse for not getting results. All PL sides are suffering multiple injuries at the moment but not many have the depth of quality we have.

I'm a fan of Steele, but he's an absolute liability against the likes of Son who will take precision strikes given the chance.

Best chance we have tonight is to stop the opposition from taking shots.
Blimey, it's a bit much blaming the goalie for a loss before kick off. Steele has done some great saves this season.

We haven’t put out a young team though.

Doesn't he need one more goal to break the 'most goals in a calendar year by a teenager' record? Not looking likely, even if he was starting...
