Shame Bruce’s predetermined team talk at 30 mins when their goalkeeper feigned injury didn’t work.

Haha exactly what I said - 100% a fake injury to have a drink and chat - time wasting from 19 mins - pathetic.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Some people will try to tell you that football is all about controlling possession, field position and the pace of the game. Not so. We've plainly got a plan to counter attack with efficiency and precision and it's all going according to that plan. We only need to improve on our shooting accuracy and our general shooting (you know, actually having a shot) as well as our transition from defense into attack and our winning of the ball. All of the rest of it we're putting on a masterclass, except the defending aspects

Still can’t work out the formation - gross and Moder sort of playing as half wing backs and 3 at the back - very attacking and has made us totally dominant - great from Potter.

Newcastle are an embarrassment, aren't they? I really hope we don't **** this up from here against such a dogs dinner of a team. How on earth are we anywhere near this lot in the league?

I do feel a bit like this. Like Leos strike has papered over the cracks that actually, we’ve been a bit ordinary as well?

You really think?

It’s not been our best, but we’ve dominated the game and possession pretty much from first whistle. Only team going for the win.

This is where we see if Porter and the players have matured, from eg the home game against Bilic’s WBA. We need to keep this up exactly as was ..... please no rearguard action inviting a Laschelles equaliser.

Great comparison.

As soon as Lallana came off on ‘61 we lost our heads against West Brom. Hopefully he has the fitness to allow Potter to to keep him on. Dunk is the captain by example (like a Beckham) but the brains, talking, tactics and composure belong to Lallana. He can close games out for us.
