I really do believe that we have drawn the short straw on ball bounces so many times this season.
Pervis was a bit poor at his game management tonight - but I must give him credit a few minutes before the end when it looked as though it was going to bounce kindly for them again - and he leapt like a salmon, knocked the guy over and won the ball. I enjoyed that.

Yeah but Liverpool had one shot on target and a cross that ended up as a goal. We had so many half chances that bounced to a red shirt. I really do believe that we have drawn the short straw on ball bounces so many times this season.

But f***, it all turned out well, tonight!

Quite how Webster was the only player booked had me rolling my eyes at another top six ref. We were thugged by Liverpool
Good point, I thought they were prettyy cynical/dirty at times, nothing like a Klopp team

BBC website:

Brighton matchwinner Jack Hinshelwood talking to Sky Sports: "First of all coming off the bench, I wanted to come into the game and make a great impact and work my hardest. I think the ball comes across and it sat up perfectly and I tapped it in. There was a nervous wait until the goal was allowed but when it was allowed it was pure relief."

On coming on with his cousin Harry Howell: "It was a really nice moment coming on with my cousin. We've been working so hard since we were kids. Playing together since we were just born kicking balls with each other, so to come on together and he made a great run across the front post to open the gap for me, so I'll be thanking him later."

On his baby celebration: "I've been due a goal a while and the Mrs has been banging on to me about bringing the celebration in, so we've got a baby on the way. We're really excited, it's my first one, so excited to be making a family together."
If the generation-on-generation talent accrual in the Hinshelwood family continues in the same way, that kid is going to be some player.

Wow, he was an absolute headcase tonight. Proper insane decision making at times. I've completel lost my voice. Half of that was encouragement for the team and the other half screaming at Pervis.

Great game though and brilliant atmosphere at the end. I'm going to find thr post I did after Gruda's debut where I said he would end up being rhe pick of our recent purchases...

If it's a boy, probably too early for next season but must be a potential starter for 2026/27.

Last game in the South West for me and great fun it was too. We will see what the standing "seats" are like next season from the North West. If the games are all like that one then I'll be happy!

Our Home record this season against the so called "big six" is unreal.
