My Son used to run the social media account for a very high profile ex player and part time pundit. He actually copied me in to a tweet from him once and then quickly deleted it.

Exactly - I run the social media for some bands and that's how generally things are run. Very few celebs/sports people ACTUALLY do their own posts. Might come up with the occasional bit of copy to be posted but that can be rare.
