We’ve had some real shockingly bad performances at home this season. The team is so wildly inconsistent at the moment.
Normally with Dunk as captain.

It’s all very Potter-esque isn’t it? Underperforming xG, terrible decision making in the last third, some abject home performances leading to light booing after failing to beat a bottom three team…

There was a moment where we had the ball in defence, unchallenged.
Dunk was coming back into the defensive shape and told Baleba to slow down.presumably to gove him time to get back into shape.

It's an approach that has been all too commonplace from us.

Far more important that we get back Into shape, than exploit an opportunity before our opponents get into shape.

It's why our opponents find it easier to score against us than we do against them.

Oh come off it. We should’ve scored at least 4 or 5 today. We had so many chances and missed the target completely on more than one occasion with a free shot in and around the six yard box. Attacking players cost us the game.
Should have been out of sight at HT. we had 7 big chances and only scored 2 pens. We were wasteful up front and also shockingly bad in defence at times.

Been home for a short while and just now catching up with NSC. Would love to have known exactly why each decision took so long...was the ref Mr Magoo, finding it hard to focus on the VAR screen? Did notice after the game the Leicester fans (who seemed generally good natured unlike last time when there were some gobby sorts) didn't seem great at maths as they were still singing repeatedly "We scored a goal! We scored a goal!" FFS it was TWO. Tsk.

My first sighting in the flesh of The Terrace in full effect and it looked good - heaving - and at least Man City gave us something to cheer about!

Looking forward to the likes of JPVH etc being back for the next match.

Awful result and it’s not as though we didn’t have more than enough chances does this feel like two points lost or a European place squandered

Oh god it’s been picked as Sky’s Game of the Day at 8.30pm 🤣

100 %. Problem is Dunk is so easily out of position as he now far too slow.

It seems we have two types of games:

- we are losing at half time to a big team, come out as plucky underkids and win
- we play someone shitter and can’t score for toffee

A deflating but inevitable afternoon as we have always struggled to win games against relegation fodder since we got promoted. The lack of control in midfield without Baleba there was concerning.

I think the best we can hope for now is a top half finish. I could see us imploding though like the end of last season. As expected, the international break has ruined our season.
