It's always good to give struggling clubs a bit of a leg-up.
Villa is the one I want to win - it's long overdue.

Yeah it's quite obvious we currently have a big drop off after Dunk

Webster and JVH get done quite often. Haven't seen enough of Igor but he seems to run up too much

Really disappointed with Baleba after Saturday.

Decent enough performance. We created the better chances, but didn't finish them.

Probably didn't deserve to lose, or deserve to win either.

Enjoyed a further demonstration that Sanchez, Cucurella and Caicedo are very, very average at best.

Think it is great that we are out of this competition. Too many fixtures, and bigger fish to fry, this season.

Cucurella was probs motm. Moises ain’t average and you know it.

Disappointed it had to be Chelsea, but overall may be a good thing to be out this cup so we can concentrate on the other competitions. Hopefully we alway follow up a loss with a good win so looking forward to beating Villa on Saturday

Yes, 3 bad games on the trot albeit beating Bournemouth. Villa will tear us apart if we play like last 3!

There were positives from the new boys tonight I thought.

Dahoud was very good and his fitness has definitely improved already. Igor was decent. Baleba is obviously raw and made some errors tonight but looks a real force in midfield.

And I know he should have scored once, maybe twice tonight, but I really like Pedro. He is so dangerous, always looking to make things happen and usually does. As against AEK he was very much our main/only threat. Still raw in some areas but I think he’s such an exciting talent and will be a superstar.
