I don't think our real problem is 'missing chances' as such - that's always going to happen. I think it's the ball before the chance that is the problem - so many are so close to being perfect, but not quite. So, we chalk it down as a miss by Maupay (for instance), when actually the ball was very slightly behind him / level with him rather than in front - and so on.

Veltman is putting in some fabulous crosses though.

Maupay is so annoying, like a wasp at a picnic, it takes two defenders to keep him at bay. That allows us to have a spare man, we just have to learn to make use of it
