He's not great, but this result isn't his fault. And how good do we need our reserve keeper to be? We don't really need to be spending higher wages on a reserve, when we're spending so much on the first team.

Well played lads - really not much in it. Done themselves and us proud. Now for the play-offs....
We do need another back-up keeper IMO. Brez and Ankers are flappers. Something for Gus to bear in mind for next season.
Great battling performance today, we need to show that kind of spirit in the league. We matched Arsenal today, that is an achievement.

But seriously, Albion more than matched Arsenal today.
Whilst Arsenal showed their class in the 2nd half, there was just a deflected goal between the two teams - nothing more.
They played great today. Time to move on and concentrate on the league...

I think they were the better side but the boys were certainly not outclassed. We played well they finished superbly.

Superb from Brighton today, just a shame the TV companies f***ed up so the rest of the country couldn't witness a great game in front of a full crowd.

Great game...... We looked like to a Premiership team today.....
Well done lads. Gave us some good memories. Shame we couldn't hang on for the draw as a night at the Emirates would have been grand but probably best not to stack up the fixtures and injuries.

Also, if we take that kind of performance into the league, with the help of Ulloa, we will hopefully look a much better side from here on. Seems like our players are starting to click

Thing is, keepers that aren't flappers at this level are generally regarded as very good and in demand. Keepers rarely get subbed or injured so there's no point in paying over the odds for someone who's going to warm the bench for 90% of the season.
