Painter is in because we dont have another option... Noone seems to be out because they are going narrow... no wingers on the field (OK Vicente is but looks like he is going to roam).

Looks like a narrow midfield diamond with Bridcutt sitting in front of the back four and Vicente playing a more central role 'in the hole' behind Barnes and CMS.

IMHO no.... absolutely no positional sense for a LB even though he is committed and a great tackler... remember both Liverpool goals were from the left. PLUS he is injured so unlikely to start.

Doesn't look an attacking side to me, no real width on a big pitch. We're very narrow, especially if we are playing a diamond.

Subs could have a big impact though.
