After being abused by the Withdean faithful against Walsall, he stepped up to the mark and scored the penalty that dumped City out of the cup sparking the best scenes ever witnessed at Withdean.

Not the best scenes ever, that was Swindon. Followed by Ipswich. Good result though. See what you're saying with Matt Richards, I think he gets a lot of undue stick.

The second goal was his fault. But other keepers would have let some of the shots in the first half in. So, I think it's rather stupid reasoning :smokin:

You could say that the saves he has made makes up for it...just think this award shoudl erb about consistency..... and that one BIG mistake goes against him. I think Murray, while not being fantastic, has been very consistent.

Does FDM get a bonus point or something for being SO far ahead of everyone else?

These polls are a good idea, however, I cant help but feel the majority of people who have voted havent attended every game this month, and in some cases, have probably just been to 1 or 2 games.

I reckon if only people that went to every game in September was allowed to vote, there would only be about 35 votes MAX.
I missed the 1st Northampton game and the Yeovil game, but I still feel I went to enough games to make a judgement, and quite an easy one at that

Dissapointing month. Loved the City game but only covered up the fact that we gained 2 points from 4 league games.

Michel is obviously going to win this months poll therefore I went for Tommy.

Elphick or Fraser?

Yeah, that's fair enough. It's more people voting who have only been to home games or who only went to the Man City game.

Might be interesting to see who gets the most votes across the season. Would not be a fair measure of the "best" player (current system month-by-month is best) but will be interesting never the less.

I was going to keep a track on votes throughout the season, but the number of votes only counts if the player finishes in the top 3 for the month, if that makes sense
