Last month saw the first Brighton & Hove Albion player of the MONTH.

The points system works

5points if you are the winner
3 points if you finish second
1 point for finishing third.

IN the event of tied positions, each player in that position will receive the points.

Last month saw

1st - Michel Kuipers with 34.51% of the votes (49 votes)
2nd - Colin Hawkins with 30.28% of the votes (43 votes)
3rd - Nicky Forster with 19.01% of the votes. (27 votes)

So the league table is

Kuipers 5 points
Hawkins 3 points
Forster 1 point

This month saw a topsy turvy month for the Albion

Brighton 1 - 0 Northampton - JPT game where McLeod scored a BELTER, and Lynch seemingly MOM

Brighton 1 - 4 Scunthorpe - A terrible game in defence, not so bad going forward, a goal for Robinson

Brighton 1 - 1 Yeovil - An away draw, which maybe we could have won. A goal for Forster and a red for Anyinsah

Brighton 0 - 1 Walsall - the most humilating, embarrasing result for some of us to ever witness, even 56 second half crosses wasn’t enough for one goal

Brighton 2 - 2 Manchester City (5-3 pens, aet) - Maybe the highlight of anyones Brighton supporting life time. Kuipers brilliant upfront, some of the fringe players like Loft and Fraser shone, and Thomson immense. Goals for Murray and Anyinsah.

Brighton 2 - 2 Northampton - not the greatest performance, but a thrilling, but dissappointing end. 2 goals for Glenn Murray

So who is you player of the season??
Voting finishes FRIDAY 3rd OCTOBER - 7pm

3rd Kuipers

Special mentions for Anyinsah, Livermore & Thomson too.

There really can be NO other winner this month.

After the clanger yesterday I can't go with Kuipers. I think MUrray has bene very consistent so I'm goign with him..... before yesterday it would have been Kuipers easily.

The second goal was his fault. But other keepers would have let some of the shots in the first half in. So, I think it's rather stupid reasoning :smokin:

I know he won't win this months vote but i'm going with Matt Richards.

After being abused by the Withdean faithful against Walsall, he stepped up to the mark and scored the penalty that dumped City out of the cup sparking the best scenes ever witnessed at Withdean.

For me Kuipers has been the best player by a mile, kept us in games we should have lost, and made a hero of himself saving Balls penalty

Murray second for me, despite his critics has been playing well, and 3 goals in last 2 games

Richards 3rd, played pretty well apart from Walsall

There can be only one...FDM

However I think it's worth noting a few other players that have played well. I agree that Richards has played well, and was superb in the Man City game. I think Anyinsah is looking really good as well and Murray is now seemingly hitting a bit of form. Let's hope it continues!

Right here, right now
Kuipers has been the most consistent player this month but I am going to vote tactically to try and secure 2nd place for Murray who has plugged away, showing his quality against Man City and bagging a brace yesterday.

Dissapointing month. Loved the City game but only covered up the fact that we gained 2 points from 4 league games.

Michel is obviously going to win this months poll therefore I went for Tommy.
