The Athletic: Tottenham and Brighton fined by FA after mass touchline confrontation

Seems a bit harsh. I reckon Roberto should have nutted Attwell for that size of fine.
In fact after the way they robbed us of three points we should be suing the FA.

An FA statement read: “Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion have been fined £100,000 each for a mass confrontation that occurred during their Premier League match on Saturday 8 April.

“Both clubs admitted they failed to ensure that their benches conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and did not behave in a way which is improper during the 58th minute. An independent Regulatory Commission imposed their fines following a subsequent hearing.”

Seems a hugely high figure. Wolves and Forest were fined £45k and £40k respectively for failing to control their teams just a few weeks ago. Given the mitigating circumstances of the worst refereeing performance probably in Premier League history and the relatively minor fracas itself it's an absolute bloody scandal.
