Bit worried re this. The Argus reported he was due to sign an extension a few months ago but I don't think we've heard officially. Anyone know anything?

I would be very surprised if he left given the team being built and him being integral to it.

Didn't he just buy a house in Brighton? Also I'm sure he'd rather play in a promotion challenging Championship team than slugging it out for a relegation fighting scrap in the Premiership. Can't see any of the top sides coming in for him yet TBH.

I wouldn't be surprised if we just weren't informed like they did with Ankergren.

I'd be more annoyed if he just left then anyone else. We made him and he knows it.

What?

No shouts from the goon squad of "He's holding the club to ransom", "greedy ****", "let him rot"......

Will probably sign, but if a Premier League Club comes in, then he will be off.

Correct.

Why?

Has he said this ever?

If a Premier League team came in for him, its a no brainer or course he would leave. Whether the team he'd join would be scrapping relegation or not, he'd get a deal there that could set him up for life, it was exactly the same with Bennett.

IF it happened I'd be gutted, but he'd leave with my thanks and best wishes, he's been an immense player for this club the last couple of years.

There has been lots of talk of two players per position but with Navarro gone, who is the back up to Bridcutt?
I'm sure we are looking for a strong midfielder so it'll probably be a new signing and Bridcutt as our first choice midfield, then they cover each other if one is out. At the moment the most like for like players are Kasim and Rodgers.
