So he doesn't need to rush the decision, and may want to take time to negotiate a point out two (particularly as there is interest in him from other clubs). Let's just be patient.

Didn't he just buy a house in Brighton? Also I'm sure he'd rather play in a promotion challenging Championship team than slugging it out for a relegation fighting scrap in the Premiership. Can't see any of the top sides coming in for him yet TBH.

I'm sure we are looking for a strong midfielder so it'll probably be a new signing and Bridcutt as our first choice midfield, then they cover each other if one is out. At the moment the most like for like players are Kasim and Rodgers.
