While we have a relatively fit midfield he may as well go through a few gooners and pick the 10th up.
You do not get a ban for five yellows now, only for ten or fifteen.
Weren't they wiped on 1st Jan?
That's what I thought. They referred to this last night on BBC Sussex
Didn't the yellow card count get wiped over Xmas/New Year? Sure they said that on the radio last night too

There is no such thing as cards "getting wiped". A player receiving 5 bookings before Dec 31 incurs an automatic 1-game ban; therefore, a player on 4 bookings prior to that deadline faces a ban if they pick up another booking by Dec 31. If they avoid a fifth yellow until AFTER Dec 31, they won't have to serve an automatic 1-game ban (Ashley Barnes was in this position, having picked up his 4th booking on September 18, but he managed to avoid getting booked again before the end of the year).
Bridcutt picked up his 5th booking against Leeds and was suspended for the Peterborough game. If he picks up his 10th booking before the 2nd Sunday in April, he will serve an automatic 2-game ban.
I see you read my post after I had done a bit of research.![]()
