Is it still ok to drink Neck Oil? I do like that stuff.

I love craft beers and had loads of Neck Oil when last there.
Over here Gage Roads Little Dove and Colonial IPA are my favourites.

Beavertown was brilliant when it first started out and they had an amazing pub in Haggerstown, London which served up some great BBQ to go with the beer. Like a few others, it sold out to a big brewer. The main disappointment for me was the sale stopped them making some of their more interesting beers and cask ales.

Whilst I prefer to support the smaller breweries, I don’t get too worked up when a favorite like Beavertown sells up…in fact it’s usually a good thing when the bigger indy craft beer companies sell up as it makes more room for smaller ones.

I have bought some Brewdog OG beers, Punk IPA, Hardcore IPA and Jack Hammer. Not seen the last two beers for a long long time.

It’s such a real shame the co-founder became such a **** as they are really nice beers.

In Tesco last night they seem to be doing a big promotion on Brewdog sauces, spice mixes and other food stuff.

I still think Punk is an amazing beer. It’s not gone downhill at all over the years. I can’t imagine any proper beer discussion where they don’t come into it. They bought new beers to the masses … They weren’t the first the best but the price was good.

It’s a classic. I posted in April I had bought a bunch of Brewdog beers. I literally bought another mixed case this week including Hardcore IPA, JackHammer and 5AM Saint. These were some of their regular brews back in the day. I’d forgotten how nice 5AM is.

Hazy Jane is also one of my favourite beers. Got 12 the other day from waitrose for nearly £1/can. On a price/quality ratio surely Brewdog cannot be beaten.

It’s a tricky beer to get right that style….

I had a mild addiction to Jack Hammer during lockdown, five or six of those and it's a good evening. Lovely stuff. Saw it was back a few days ago and was tempted, but I cba with buying £50 of beer to make it more palletable!
