Given that we have had a number of games and some long miles in the last week or so (and Gus having watched Brentford at Orient on Friday) I think we might see more changes than expected

If you look at Brentford's results in the cup and league they are a team that does better against attacking sides so going gung-ho at them might be inviting them to put up a better performance. Building patiently through midfield and playing a little more narrow, seems the most likely tactic to succeed so resting Dicker and LuaLua (as heavily hinted in the Argus) in favour of Sparrow and Baz and using Kishishev's experience ahead of Bridcutt looks possible. The biggest surprise might be Greer getting a start but I have a feeling that either Elphick or el Abd will get a rest tomorrow.

Cant change the back 5. Greer will have to wait.

Kish to start, he changed the game when he came on saturday. Bridcutt did look very good against Plymouth, but was not great on Saturday. Not sure if sparrow is fit!? if he is, he could be pushing Dicker for his place, all depending on how they have been looking in training.

Would be idiotic to not play Barnes and Sandaza up top, i know Murray is loved on here, but he has not looked great in the last 2 games, hence being subbed two games running. Barnes is The best striker we have at the moment, and Sandaza is going to be full of confidence after his winner, Gus said he is a goal scorer, now if you have a goal scorer on your team who is high in confidence it would be pure stupidity not to play him. He may not be fit enough to play 90 mins however, so a sub on for him after 60-70 mins.

i dont understand all this resting players only 8 games into the season.

Our home games are so crucial this season so i would just play the same as sat apart from kish for bridcutt.

If after this game they are tired from 4 games in 9 days then maybe try a couple of changes on sat.

Yes, but Sandaza is still not fully fit and Murray is actually playing well. Just because he isn't scoring doesn't mean he isn't contributing. Why do you think Banes had so much space on saturday? Its because Murray dragged the back four all over the place.

Personally, I'd go:

Ankergren;

Calderon, Elphick, El-Abd, Painter;

Bennett, Sparrow, Kishishev, Lua Lua;

Barnes, Murray.

Subs: Greer, Brezovan, Baz, Battipiedi, Sandaza, Dicker, Bridcutt
