I can't remember how long it takes going by train/tube to SOuth Ealing. It's forever since I've been to Brentford.

I'm trying to sort out how early I'll need to leave work. Any suggestions?

The best bet is train from Waterloo or Clapham Junction to Brentford: just five minutes away.

Be aware that there are only two trains an hour though,

I only sent off for a ticket today as I totally forgot about it all last week, I better bloody get one now.

I'm going from Horsham to clapham and then to brentford, takes about an hour and a half for me, driving takes almost as long.

Bank to Waterloo 5 mins

Waterloo 18:24/18:48 ish 17 minutes

Go to the away end entrance, go past it, to the road at the top, turn right and about 500 yds down the road there is a decent pub where you can get served as opposed to those ones around the ground which are too full!!!

Try a cocoa in the ground, they are very nice

Takes about 10 minutes from Clapham Junction. Watch it on the way back though, the train will be absolutely packed. They only have 4 coaches on at that time of night and Gwylan's right, they are only every half an hour at night. Pain for me is last time I had a mate in Chiswick and parked at his house. Now he's moved to Hounslow it's too far. Leave plenty of time, it's actually quite a way from the station.

Nearest Tube station is South Ealing on the Piccadilly Line, but then you're looking at maybe the 65 bus on top of that. Best bet is to go to either Waterloo or Clapham Junction and grab the local BR service to Brentford. Station is only a 5 minute walk to the ground.

Having said that, I just looked on football ground guide and apparently south ealing tube is only 5-10 mins walk from the ground. :p
