The only possible threat to them is a newly revived Rangers, but unless they suddenly become title contenders in their first season back in the MTL Premier, then managing Celtic is easier than a three piece jigsaw.

Celtic and Rangers are where players go who are reasonably capable (but not great) in the Championship, who can't make the step up to the Premier League in England.

Kris Commons is a prime example. Wouldn't have made it in the PL, so zipped up to the MTL for a fat wage, an easy life, and hero status for his vital role in helping Celtic thrash the likes of Partick Thistle and St Johnstone every week.

Back to the debate - can't see Man City on the top 10 either so they must be a small club as well.

Essentially there are a number of perspectives to be considered - history, fan club size, revenue stream and current form. Currently the last two are not working in favour of scottish clubs but that does not mean these clubs will not come back.
