Brazilian footballer turns up for a training session wearing a pink dress.

Jairo, who plays for Figueirense, was made to wear the fetching little number as part of a new forfeit scheme to punish out-of-form players. Apparently the ploy worked and Jairo had his best game for ages in the club's next fixture.

Perhaps this is something that could be adopted at the Albion ? Obviously we'd need a wardrobe-full for our out-of-form players, but I for one wouldn't mind seeing Cox in a tight little frilly knee-length number, or maybe Virgo in a slinky off-the-shoulder pastel effort with matching heels and handbag. If it leads to an improvement in form as the article suggests, then cross-dressing in training should be embraced and encouraged. I hope Russell and Dean take note.

Good thinking... didn't this used to be the case with the pink goalie tops - they had to be worn during training as a form of punishment under Mark McGhee?

It would be interesting to see hardman El Abd sporting a pink mini-skirt with matching legwarmers..

Couldn't agree more Easy. Maybe Slade & White could set an example by majestically sweeping across the pitch early doors tomorrow: all dolled-up to the nines? Sadly, I can't see it's a look that would bring out the best of Malcolm Stewart's physical 'attributes', mind (& he wouldn't be able to get anything other than very small sponge in his clutch-bag).

God, I wish I hadn't given that last bit a thought now..

I've thought for a while that some sort of embarrassing shame should be the approach for punishing divers. FA announce that Cristiano Ronaldo to wear a man-kini in ManUre colours for the next 3 games and maybe ..... not actually, he'd probably LOVE seeing himself in that.
