[Albion] Brajan Gruda, what does he do?

Should start ahead of O'Riley for me.

A couple of the passes/balls he pulled off under pressure were incredible.

He's a real talent who has a lot of potential.

Needs minutes and to make some more mistakes to learn from.

Will be a star I think.
Agree, needs a little time but has brilliant potential.

I thought exactly the same when I saw his reaction to scoring
He seemed quite emotional. Was it just due to his first goal or something more personal? Just curious.

Happy for him to get that breakthrough.

Do we think he is actually fully fit? Watching him tracking back in several games he looks like he's running through treacle.

He's hit and miss, which you would expect at that age.

Gruda has an absolute mountain of skill. All young players have brain fades, inconsistent moments and games where everything deserts them, but Gruda has more than most.

I'd loan the lad, but just for 6 months. Him coming in in Jan with games under his belt and a bit more top level experience will be like signing a new player when the normal winter injury rush materialises

He’s been getting shit on a site called ‘north stand chat’ and it has affected him mentally as he is young and in a foreign country.
I don’t think it was this, at least I hope not.

Message to NSC regular Brajan: Don’t let those mixed NSC reviews get you down, son. Lovely finish. Keep them coming. 👍

I seem to remember, from his interview on the official pod and possibly elsewhere, him saying that it had been a tough start to his Albion career and he had struggled to adapt (in every way). He clearly sets very high standards of himself and he hadn't been reaching them. Personally, I thought he'd done OK – as we've seen with countless players, it takes time and the progress isn't linear for every player.

He was clearly totes emosh at getting the goal, maybe he saw it as a turning point or a "thank fack for that" moment, instead of one where he wanted to go crazy with a celebration.

He’s obviously been getting better and better in recent games and yesterday’s goal was no surprise. Pushing O’Riley hard for a start now but might be wiser to keep giving him that extra space against tired defenders at the end of games

If that’s really true he wouldn’t make it in League Two never mind the EPL

Generally offers more than O'Riley in my view, even if he can blow hot and cold a bit

Fabian's comment in the post-match interview suggests you're on to something here.
