At the time it wasn't considered a major final , the big clubs only really started getting interested once a eufa cup place was on offer
If Bradford get to the final and play Chelsea who probably will have a champions league place, won't they get a Europa League place even if they lose?

EUFA wanted a rule which stated that to play in a European competition the team had to play in their own domestic top league. Did it ever get passed.
