According to a Leeds supporting friend, both us and them are interested in signing Brad Guzan who's now a free agent.

Wouldn't mind him personally, did a decent job last year when Given was injured at Villa.

Guzan is a step up from our current keepers despite what you think or claim Villa fans have told you. I've a couple of mates who support Villa and think Guzan is a decent keeper who's been unlucky in the fact he had two brilliant keepers ahead of him while he was at the club.

I'm struggling to find any negative talk of Guzan (from Villa fans) on the net. As for comparing him to USAs no 1 from a different era, I am struggling to understand that logic. Shall we go out and sign a Hungarian forward as they used to be pretty good?

Erm not sure what Villa fans you talk to.....the ones I talk to daily think the complete opposite. He is a solid keeper.

If we cant get Flatpack then its a good signing - does seem like we are being linked to every keeper without a club though.

I'd be happy with him or Kersplat keeping goal next season, and with the pole attracking interest from Ipswich and others this one may be more likely.
