What a bunch of ugly f**kers.

Notably the mincing chucker, the ball tamperers, the England failures (take your pick) and the son of the biggest nonce on TMS.

Come on the Lankys!

Good try. What are Surrey up to on Saturday?

It's gonna piss down all day anyway.
well if it does then current DIVISION ONE leaders Sussex will just have to wait until Sunday to play in this season's premier one-day final...

I think you'll find that Leicestershire won that some time ago.

More than you Nobby - the C&G is now a joke competition with a crap format. Apart from a few success-starved Sussex fans no-one is interested in this weekend.

Not like the 80s and 90s when it was the end of season showpiece.

:lolol: good knowledge...

on the wider point - if you are right that the 20:20 Finals Day knockabout at Trent Bridge has greater cache with most real cricket fans than this 50 over Final at Lords between the country's two top sides then that is a bit sad...

One county championship in your history isn't it?

I agree with you, but 20/20 finals days is seen as bigger now, mainly among the players. I think it's a shame as the NatWest/Gillette final used to be great. It was the last big game of the season and there were far fewer televised games. Something to look forward to and a real occasion.

Now it's hidden away between the tests and the ODIs. Not even Sky care about it.

What? We won the CHAMPIONSHIP only three years ago, ie only TWO out of SEVENTEEN other counties have done it more recently, and we are currently TOP of it again. How is that success-starved?

And Sharkey's already secured one gong of the two settled so far this season
