I never understood this. Do these websites give better prices than nationalrail.co.uk? Because whenever I've used them they give exactly the same results.

Quite, I always find the cheapest way it to buy tickets to London direct from Southern and then London northwards from the relevant rail company and we use our oysters to cross London.

Of course I'm taking generally not Bournemouth because we are on the coach so I don't know.

If you are getting a Portsmouth train from Brighton remember to have a gypsy's beforehand as they don't have a khazi on board.
