Anyone bouncing threads because they think it is funny needs to have a good look at themselves. As funny as cancer. Sad.

Oh well, another thread to ignore.

Crodo.

He can be quite amusing at times, hence not on ignore.

But I'm likely to review my options at some point, given some of the recent soppy-bollocks thread bouncing.

Edit: after now seeing a Mrs Brown's boys thread bounced by.....yes, him, I have now put Crodo on ignore.

Happy to pass on your vote for the inevitable “Favourite Tommy” poll if needed?

I don’t like the bouncing of player threads started a while back when there is new news. Reading the thread becomes a confusing mess as new users invariably reply to sometimes posts that are years old.

In my opinion, threads on the same topic should only be merged if they are started within the same week.

That's a fun game isn't it.

Funnily enough seems to only being done by the people on my ignore list.
I must admit it pisses me off as well, especially when the 'bounce' is only tangentially connected with the original topic. Poor Alex Salmond didn't even get his own RIP thread, it just got added to his court case one, which made for some interesting reading.

It happens once a day or something..?

Not a huge issue imo.

I’d rather plough through a confusing thread tbh than a confusing board with 3 different Solly March threads on the front page - it gets really confusing which thread you are replying to.

Also the ignore button means it’s impossible to stop old threads being bounced because posters have other posters on ignore and can‘t even see the new thread!

FWIW - I like players and the manager having an official long running thread, it somehow legitimises a respect for them as members of the Club and makes them a more ‘permanent’ fixture on NSC. It’s also easier to trace back along the path of their development by reading back on the longstanding thread.

Ah dear … first world problems 😀

Dear Moderators. I will call the wise @Guinness Boy
There are several old threads bounced in the last 24h. All by someone (or people) I have on ignore.
You know what to do (somethink or nothink). Over to you....
And.....exhale.
