One thing though is that the cavity for the player is very, very short - you may have to force the wiring down the sides and really push the headunit in.

My brother has a Fiat Punto 2001, to which I fitted a Goodmans radio due to the Blaupunkt tape deck it came with being a bit old. And shit. And a tape deck.

Had it been any car other than that or a Panda (my own) I'd not have had a clue, as its been years since I fitted a radio to anything else.
