If you are going to condemn a person for the taking of life, you can't then go on to commit the very same act in retribution.

He is an awful person because he killed people. If I were an American I'd say let's not join him.

You dumb tw*t! Killing a murderer is a lot different to killing innocent people!

You either believe that killing another person is wrong, or you don't.

What you are saying is that it's wrong to kill another person...unless...

Terrorists & murderers agree with you, decent people don't.

Two fair exceptions, the primary principle involved there is protecting life though, rather than taking it.

Worthing
I'm not an advocate of the death penalty and know little of this case but would you as an American citizen trust the police to present all the evidence including all the advanced forensics of nowadays in a completely fair manner.

I've interviewed witnesses to other crimes at this facility.

Anybody find it interesting that there is an exit sign? I believe this is the death row section.

It's in river bottom land so when the weather starts warming in the spring the colder water in the river causes a mist to sometimes rise up on the prison grounds. Not exactly easy to escape from but interesting to view. The Federal guards use heat-sensing equipment when looking for prisoners in this situation.

I can say with absolute certainty that you shouldn't trust police in a death penalty situation. UK or US.

At the end of my tether
My only concern is whether it is appropriate to execute a murderer who was still a teenager at the time of the crime and was clearly under a guiding influence of his older brother... If we recall the "Washington Sniper" attacks a few years back the younger one was spared the lethal injection because of his age and being led by the older one. They also were responsible for multiple deaths and injuries.

I would agree that would be a valid concern if he'd showed any remorse; apparently he didn't.

Is there anywhere this can be found online?

The US court system goes by the distinction "beyond a reasonable doubt." What is "reasonable doubt" is determined by each individual juror.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...you-have-not-seen-that-boston-marathon-video/

In working a case I find I go by the phrase "no doubt or beyond doubt." At some point because evidence trails will end a case has to be handed over to a prosecutor and jury. If I find myself on a jury I would use the phrase "beyond a reasonable doubt" to convict many a suspect that has been found innocent but at the same time keep an open mind as to the innocence of said suspect. Thank God or the heavens that I have never been compelled to sit on a jury in the UK or US. Some how most lawyers feel I would be prejudiced. I feel I would not be.

In my view, the evidence on video of Tsarnaev not reacting and once being near the knapsack that he had carried and exploded killing the boy is way beyond reasonable doubt.
