......the player who, like many acquisitions in recent years, promised so much and delivered so little.

:yahoo: Sounds like our sort of player

Reserves Report From Tonight
Championship QPR
by Superhoop50 (U2010871) 04 March 2009

I've just got back from the Lewes V QPR Reserves game at the wonderfully named Dripping Pan ground, as I only live 20 minutes from it.

QPR won 3-0 with goals from Ainsworth, who was his usual self i.e 110%, Balanta and Rose, who looked extremely sharp and had a number of goal attempts.

As there was no team sheet, I didn't really know who any of the other players were apart from Jake Cole who basically froze to death in goal, so I decided to make a mental note of the numbers as to who stood out and find out who they were at the end.

It was pretty easy to tell who'd had first team experience, but apart from those, Joe Oastler looks a very good prospect and is excellent on the ball, but the best news of all for me was our number 10 on the night which was Gary Borrowdale. Gotta say he looked a class above everybody and was excellent on the ball.

The opposition were frankly outclassed and we probably should have run up a cricket score.

I think I've seen the smallest footballer ever though. Lewes's number 9 centre forward could not have been taller than 4'9" and frankly looked hysterical alongside our centre halves.

IF he's down in Lewes maybe he'll pop over and have a meeting or two,...

Oh God don't say it's another "My source is very reliable. He is a friend of a friend of a friend who is going out with this guys daughter." thread.

Can't we all just wait until it becomes official?

You are going to look very silly soon. This is the chap who was first to break the news that Virgo has been sold for 1.5 million. He is one poster you can trust with information.

Hey Ronnie :bigwave:

If Borrowdale is the full back (no doubt you are right) do you know who the keeper is going to be?

All I said is, I HOPE (implied, if that needed spelling out) this is not another thread like the rest of them. At no point did I say this was a load of bollocks.

Who's the silly one now, certainly not me!
