Fair play to him for wearing his colours bearing in mind the circumstances. I might be a little more reluctant to walk along Redcar seafront in the stripes (certainly without industrial strength thermals underneath, anyway...)

Took a train with four Boro lads a couple of seasons back when I lived in London. Really nice people.

There were nice Boro fans on the train back up to London after they beat us 3-0. I'm sure that all those Boro fans up there will be just as friendly and chatty if we were to beat them next week. I'd still be briskly walking back heads down to the station though.
