Boring I admit but is anyone else suffering the worst hay fever for years?

***BAD NEWS ALERT***

My hayfever has got considerably better since accidentally giving up beer, a couple of years ago.

There's scientific basis to that, as alcohol contains histamine.

Last summer was the worst of my life. None of the usual medication worked (loratadine, cetirizine, that other one- branded Piriton- that makes you drowsy). Eventually went to my GP who prescribed Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg, some sort of giant dose of antihistamines. Worked a dream, cleared up almost instantly.

This year, I decided to pre-empt it, and ordered some more on prescription before the season started, so haven't really suffered. That said, I've just got back from holiday and realised I've run out...just as a particularly crappy weekend of high pollen kicks in. I'm already sneezing and itching and it's barely 9am. I'm off up to Blacklands Farm shortly too, which is nicely located amid woods and rural land up around East Grinstead somewhere. I fear I'm about to pay the price for my poor admin skills
