48 weeks of the year, my alarm goes off at 5:40.
9.9/10 I'm awake before it, not a problem.

I half expect it, during my week off, as I hardly burn the midnight oil, until last night.

Back from Cardiff at 2, in bed by half past, wide awake 3 hours later.

What the bloody hell is that all about?

I know how you feel. Our alarm is normally set for 6.20am. It doesn't need to be this week for various reasons. I still find myself looking at the clock to see what time it is at 6.15 or thereabouts.

If I'm not setting the alarm for any reason, I also have to remember to shut the cat out of the bedroom!

Whilst I wake up at the usual time and roll over to go back to sleep, if she sees an open eye, that's it, there's no way she's letting me go back to sleep until her breakfast's delivered!

Same as. My daily alarm is 5.15 but I'm signed off work this week after having an op on my nose, but am still waking up shortly after 5am every bloody day
