In the beach saturday night.
Bobby said Spurs were unlucky against Arsenal and that it was the best pressure/atmosphere he has ever played in.
Jonah said that they were f***ing awful saturday and gave away shity goals. Then said that McGhee gave everyone a roasting afterwards ???
Talked about promotion and he said that we were definitely the best team in the league and it will come good. Asked him about Coppell and his words in his native tongue was that 'He's a f***ing legend' and couldnt blame him for going. Yet to resing the vd song about him as I can see why he left and will continue my stance!
Still felt pissed afterwards but cheered me up and Im convinced that we will get it right!

He has got a lot ruder than he used to be.

Sorry for my caps lock problem!

I tried talking to Bobby at the Beach about Albion and he had no interest at all. It left me feeling that although the guy was talented on the pitch, he was one of the most arrogant people I have come across.

I am glad to hear that he spoke to you as I wouldn't want anyone to receive the samr treatment I received.:glare:

You should have told him that it certainly will come good once MM decides to drop him.

Yeah, Gunter! lol! No, he just ignored me and his mate said "love don't even bother trying to chat him up as he has a girlfriend" I just turned round and said "I only wanted to say I think he's great for the albion, but I can obviously see he also has an attitude problem.

Congrats to GN who could get a conversation out of him.

I seem to recall Reading saying that they were the best team in the league two seasons ago, finished second (to us) and still claimed they were the best team in the division!

I hope we don't go down that road!

In fairness to Jonah Im sure if I said you are playing shit then he would agree. Whenever Iv seen him in there and had a chat with him he's been quite honest, a bit like John Robinson. Regarding Bobby seen him a few times and he's fine, maybe was a bit annoyed when I said he must be frustrated and he said he's played a few recently but no arrogance about him. Maybe BB he know's you put it about abit and thats why he was reluctant to speak to you!

(joke-wait for the bait to be taken!)

I don't know, I can kind of see an up side to finishing second. :)

Were you the only three in there? It looked dead when I peeped in, although it was early.

I think with most players you need to chat them like they are not gods, not saying that we all do. Last time we saw Bobby in the beach my mate said he looked like some footballer but couldnt remember his name! When Bobby said he played for the Albion my mate said he heard thet had geezer who played up front but he wouldnt get in his sunday team Orange square. My mate obviously knew Bobby drank in there sometimes and Bobby loved it and they were chatting for a good 10 minutes.
I reckon they get bored with 'star struck' fans going on about how great they are etc and dont mind a laugh.

As usual his first touch lets him down and you get away from him. He's never really worked on that properly.
