Its for charitt isn't it. All the reviews I have read have been pretty favourable. He does it all tongue in cheek I think. I may buy it.

His voice does not lend itself for Xmas songs it has to be said but if it's all for charity then I guess that throws a different light on it. I may also buy it but just for the novelty value of making people listen to Bob Dylan at his worst.

Yeah i have bought it ( as I do all BD's albums) and found it ok. A bit odd but he covers the songs with a good feel for the 40s and 50s that he so enjoys playing on his Theme time Radio hour. Certainly not tongue in cheek. I won't play it again until at least December, but i think it's fine and don't have a problem with it. Looking forward to playing it to all the family over christmas dinner!

Odd that a Jewish protest singer has made an album for a Christian celebration.

I'd rather he wasn't singing Hava Nagila though, so perhaps Christmas is a better option, songwise.

I look forward to his Ramadan issue.

It's not an unusual crossover though I suppose. George Harrison was all over Hare Krishna, and Carlos Santana (that's even a Catholic-sounding surname) embraced something or other that meant his changing his name to 'Devadip'

I too buy all his albums and I think it's pretty good. It sounds like he enjoyed doing it and there's some nice tracks on it. Defo worth a listen but not for everyone I'm sure..
