Cheltenham caretaker boss Bob Bloomer has confirmed that he will apply for the manager's job on a permanent basis.
Bloomer, who was first-team coach under Bobby Gould, has taken charge at the club since Gould's departure.
He told the club's official website: "I've been at this club now for almost 11 years and everyone knows the feelings I have for the club, the fans who have been so good to me over the years and everybody else who has been associated with Cheltenham.
"You don't have to ask me for too long how much I love this club and it would be an honour to be the manager."
