There wasnt, but there was voting, and they gained two Euro seats on the back of it. Their vote is down considerably from that.

I wouldn't have thought it was that so much as their disarmament policies. It's not a bad idea for an amnesty for illegals as long as they meet certain criteria, length of stay and so on.

Yes it was a poor performance. It was always going to be tough call because people will always vote for one of the big three regardless of their concerns about certain issue.
